Tasha Andrusky was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where she graduated from the Alberta University of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture. Tasha returned to school after working in the oil and gas sector for a couple of years, graduating from Grant MacEwan University’s Arts and Cultural Management Program. While working for arts organizations in Edmonton, she explored her love of yarn through weaving, knitting and crochet.
She now calls Penticton, BC home where she continues to challenge herself through different techniques to create unique one of a kind fibre art.
